Rev. Maggie Mathieson

Minister

Maggie Mathieson is one of the Pastors in KUC. A native of Scotland, Maggie has lived and worked in Hong Kong since 1996, before that she spent a number of years working with the Church of Scotland, Board of World Mission in Tiberias and Jerusalem.

Before her theological studies at Lutheran Theological Seminary and ordination here in Hong Kong, she worked as a preschool and special needs teacher both in Scotland and in Hong Kong.

As part of the Ministerial Team in KUC, Maggie’s main roles focus around weekly worship, church community building, children's ministry and KUCspace.  She is passionate about music, drama and literature with a deep interest in crafting and is a self-confessed foodie and TV addict.

One of her great hopes in life is that we can see and accept each other without the ‘labels’ that society places on people.
